What members of The Recovery Foundation Cycling Club say:
“I’m a regular at the races and train on a weekly basis with another member of The Recovery Foundation who lives in Joburg. The unity of the Club is amazing. There are always people to assist with any need. I’ve been a member of many clubs, but at The Recovery Foundation, I’ve felt welcomed in every way. A highlight of being in the Club for me was my first race back on the bike – the 947 Mountain Bike Race. I would definitely recommend the Cycling Club. It’s a brotherhood and sisterhood of people with a common cause – to ride for those who can’t yet. We are always there for one another. It’s given me such a sense of belonging and freedom.”

“It’s really awesome to be a part of such a great cause that’s so close to my heart. It’s the first time that I’ve been able to commit to such a worthy mission on an ongoing basis. By joining The Recovery Foundation Cycling Club, I managed to get back into a sport I really love. I strive to do better with each race. Seeing all the familiar faces at each race and the social events is awesome, and I’ve forged meaningful relationships through The Recovery Foundation.”
